Looks like something has been done to the GPS routines.

The Microsoft GPS generic driver does not seem to work very well now -- always used to.

Changed to COM7 and it gets a fix OK  .. seems to work fine.

BUT

• If I bring up "satellites" nothing is shown  .. no yellow/green circles
• While there are 10 satellites indicated, last 2 DOPs say "none"

Anyone finding the same?

Does it matter? (just need to be sure its working properly)

Has the software changed in this area?
